B2B Software Client

Objective

A B2B Inside Sales Software Client needed to improve its online, inbound traffic to its website.  The goal was to improve awareness with target markets, drive more traffic, and generate more leads.

About the Engagement

In January 2012, the client partnered with us to increase social media marketing referral traffic to its website and perform some on-site SEO. In 2013, the Client outsourced its on-site and off-site SEOPPC/paid search, and content marketing to the team at Jackson Marketing Services.

Results

Overall unique visits improved year over year when Jackson Marketing Services began working with the Client. In the first year, there was a 16% increase in overall total visitors followed by two years of 18% growth each year. 2016 is on track to meet or exceed another 18% increase.


Website & SEO
IT Consulting Firm

Objective

An IT consultancy in the southeast needed a website redesign and search engine optimization to start reaching more customers through organic search.

About the Engagement

We developed a new website in WordPress for this client that included new design, content, and conversion forms. In the process of working with the client, we developed a keyword strategy for the site that helped guide the entire project.

Results

We helped the client improve rank on numerous keywords and moved the website to #1 on Google for target non-branded keywords that were previously ranked >50 on Google. Organic traffic increased by 105% in the months that followed the completion of the project.


Social Media Strategy
Mini-Golf Chain

Objective

A Florida mini-golf chain located in the Tampa Bay region needed to improve its presence on social media. Jackson Marketing Services assisted in developing a social media strategy and training them on how to manage them on an ongoing basis.

About the Engagement

Jackson Marketing Services developed a social media marketing strategy and editorial calendar to help the Client hit the ground running upon handoff.  As part of the project, Jackson Marketing Services:

  • Researched direct and indirect competition in the areas served by the chain’s units
  • Identified location-specific opportunities for social media engagement with the surrounding communities
  • Created brand-consistent artwork for each social media platform (including set up of Pinterest and Google+)
  • Managed initial posting to Facebook and Twitter
  • Engaged with influencers to help develop the Client’s presence on these platforms
  • Developed an editorial calendar complete with pre-written posts for month one (post hand-off)
  • Provided video tutorials and in-person training to staffers who manage accounts via HootSuite

Results

Jackson Marketing Services helped the chain increase its Facebook fans by 238%, and it realized a 48% increase in followers on Twitter. In addition to the social media groundwork to build followers and engagement, we created video and written tutorials, a content marketing starter plan, and performed on-site training to help the client get up to speed on each social profile and the Hootsuite Pro platform.
